Derek is very proud of this album, and has a life story of a total failure - but one that plans on finding redemption in changing forever and helping others for the rest of his life. For his son, for everyone he ever knew. He's already been sober over 2 Years, and he just wishes he found Sobriety sooner. Unfortunately hitting rock bottom, for Derek, took 20 years of Drug Abuse and his life spun completely out of control. He wishes he could've saved his life - his families lives he hurt… so so so much would be different. But you can't change the past, you can only keep moving forward. So while his heart is still beating, he is dedicated to this new life… and you can believe him, or not…. but it's definitely not HYPERBOLE. IT's “ACCEPTANCE”.
